Top Cannabis Attractions
Nowadays, cannabis has become a mainstream activity.
With cannabis-centered tours and experiences very much worth traveling for, there are endless cannabis attractions and destinations to choose from.
From a blazing-and-gazing graffiti city to a cannabis-inspired walking adventure in Denver to even a puff-and-paint class in San Francisco and Portland, smoking cannabis has become increasingly more creative than the days of smoking out in the parking lot prior to a concert.
In states where recreational marijuana is now legal, there’s something for every toker to appreciate. From cannabis-friendly hotels to cannabis-empowerment retreats for men and women, rest assured, there’s a cannabis attraction for you.
As a long-time toker that has traveled the country visiting various cannabis-themed attractions, I’ve learned of the best activities available to cannabis connoisseurs, such as myself.
Below are the top attractions I’d recommend to all cannabis fanatics and vacation planners alike.

Sushi and Joint Rolling
In Colorado, tokers in Denver can enjoy Sushi & Joint Rolling classes offered by My 420 Tours; a tour-planning service for cannabis-inspired experiences.
In this class, you will learn how to hand-roll dispensary-quality joints.
Guests are also able to choose the strain in which they roll.
If that’s not enough, before class, you will also be given a discount card to purchase two grams of cannabis from a local dispensary for only $2 (that’s a helluva deal).
Once your spliff is rolled, it’s time to head outside where you and other guests will toke in the company of others in a privately-designated smoking area. Once the smoke session has commenced it’ll be time to head back into the class where you’ll learn how to roll sushi, just like Japanese sushi-rolling professionals do.
The class is hosted Thursday-Saturday night in a home-styled space, which allows guests to legally smoke outside. Keep in mind, this two-hour class if often sold out weeks in advance so it’s best to plan ahead.
My 420 Tours also hosts a cannabis-inspired culinary class in addition to a few outdoor-based walking activities. Their Blaze & Gaze tour allows guests access to a private cannabis lounge before walking Denver streets to appreciate the immense amount of artwork. This is done on a 2.5-mile walk through the Rino Arts District.

Puff, Pass and Paint
This is an activity available in many locations, including but not limited to, California, Arizona, Colorado, and more.
Originally founded in Colorado by the Denver-native landscape artist Heidi Keyes, this class has increasingly grown in popularity and is enjoyed by thousands of cannabis users and art fans alike each and every year.
Since founded, it has now expanded to twelve classes in 13 cities; Boston and Washington, DC being a couple of them.
Puff, Pass and Paint classes are hosted in residential spaces and often have a BYOMJ policy (bring your own Mary Jane). These classes highly encourage visitors to smoke, vape, and east edibles.
This company has taken things a step further and now offers a “Puff, Pass & Bake” class where guests will learn how to make their own “budder”; cannabis-infused butter. In this class, visitors will also learn how to make other cannabis-infused foods as well, including candy and ice cream.

Puff Puff Pour
In 1973, Oregon became the first state to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of marijuana. It became the third state to pass legalized recreational marijuana and today has a prospering cannabis economy.
It really does; in fact, one of Oregon’s biggest issues is their large surplus of cannabis.
With so much cannabis it’s no wonder why Oregon has some of the coolest cannabis attractions in the country, Puff Puff Pour being just one of many (located in Portland). But for now, we’ll be sharing this attraction as it’s one of the most enjoyable ones I’ve partaken in.
During a two-hour session, guests will enjoy three different strains by vaping a pen. While vaping, attendees will enjoy three beverages. From cold-brew coffee to small-batch spirit drinks, the drink of choice will be determined by the type of strains being vaped.
You can also consult one of the cannabis farmers for help in choosing a strain that pairs well with the beverage selection.

Bud & Breakfast
This increasingly popular brand owns cannabis-friendly properties throughout the United States. At most of these locations, guests are permitted to vape and smoke within their rooms.
About 100 miles from Los Angeles is a town named Idyllwild, which is situated in the San Jacinto Mountains.
Here, cannabis users will find the Hicksville Pines Bud & Breakfast; the first of its kind in California. In total, there are ten cannabis-themed rooms with community smoking permitted in Room 420.
All common site areas are weed-friendly (so long as you vape). Vaping equipment can be requested by staff.
One of the nice things about this Bud & Breakfast is that guests can enjoy cannabis while also enjoying breathtaking views. This was one of the many reasons I enjoyed traveling to Denver (mountainous terrains).
The continental breakfast, cannabis-inspired room décor, and awe-inspiring views make this one of my favorite Bud & Breakfast attractions.
The decor of each room will certainly ensure your experience is unlike that of any other Bud & Breakfast retreat.
Each of their rooms has decor that follows the name of the room.
Their rooms include the Haunted Mansion, The Third Man, Mondo Trasho, Dolly, Christmas Town, Dita, Honeymoon Suite, Nerds!, Room 420, The Great Northern, and the Log Lady Lodge.
Their rates are also very reasonable and are much cheaper than similar retreats.
